Tigers verses M's April 26th

Yeah, you're right. The smart play is to pitch around Boesch to get to Cabrera and Fielder. Good call

boesch swings at everything, you dont need to give him good pitches. lineup protection is largely bullshit anyways.

Porcello never should have been pitching to figgins.... He already had 2 hits before the last one... Jim is dumb..

I've got no complaints about using Benoit here, but I do about getting our asses kicked at home by the shit Mariners and this pathetic over hyped crap ass offense though

10 consecutive games now with only 4 or fewer runs. Or maybe it's 11 hell I lost count.

he got figgins out, boesch is the one who played that into a double and a run (though i still agree that leyland is stupid, just not for that).

Because players usually get pitched around.

Other than the elite of the elite, the Cabrera's, Brauns, Pujols', pitchers don't pitch around hitters.

Boesch could have Inge behind him, and pitchers wouldn't pitch him differently.

Dickerson makes the comment that it seems we haven't scored on League in years so I don't for see this ending well considering we are sending Kelly/Peralta/Raburn. Crap!

I tried to explain this the other day, when people where complaining about Avila's lack of protection.

No team in baseball, has (intentional) protection for their number 6 or 7 hitters.

Boesch would see the same pitches at 2, that he would at 5 or 6.

I'm starting to get on the bandwagon to move him to 5th though.

I was in the doctors office and had no radio signal.... When i got it back they said Figgins Doubled...

Catchable ball, Boesch misplayed it because he did not read the wind carry.

Got over his head.
