Tigers vs. athletics Game Thread Sept. 19

I bet Verlander and the rest of the staff yearn for a teammate who wil take a pitch. It's rediculous. If I'm the coaching staff, Garcia had the take sign on in that situation. You just can't gets two first pitch outs.

Stuck on a work-conference call and I'm following on Gameday. I've lost track of the conversation several times already.

Not like that pitch to Garcia was right down Woodward.

My back was turned as I am posting stuff on the ebay.. So I did not see the pitch. But the situation is he need to be taking... But with JV's pitch count climbing he needs to be taking a pitch..

V not helping himself out. Last few first pitches looked like intentional walk fastballs.

Loaded the bases for delmon.

Think they scouted his double play ability?

Anderson, from pitch one to 45, opposing hitters are hitting .169. After pitch 45: .306.

Gotta love MLB Game Day.

please no K. I want to at least let Peralta hit (although he has been terible lately).

Is the pitcher even pausing for a second anywhere? I bet a balk could be called anytime.
