Tigers vs. bluejays Game Thread August 22

Ugh, "Cokie" warming up. For christs sake Leyland, how many times does someone have to fail to finally get in your dog house?

The tweak in mechanics with the hip rotation and such seemed to help Sanchez tonight, runner on base but just 1 earned run of the 2, 5 hits 6 k's

5 hits is solid. Definitely a great start. Hopefully he can just be more consistent.

All in all, good start from Sanchez. Tigers need him, especially if Fister is out for any length of time.

Sanchez lowers his ERA to 6.33 after going 6.2 against a team half full of no namers, is it really that impressive? jury is still out..

Sanchez: 6.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 1 SF. 101 pitches, 63 strikes.
still alot better than all but one previous start.

Berry is nothing more than a pinch runner. Cant bunt, cant field, and cant hit.
