Tigers vs. giants World Series Game 1 Thread

They had a ball that was a one hop out hit the bag at third and go for a double which then led to three runs with two outs. In addition, the pitcher who had 4 hits in almost 60 at bats this season got an RBI and a guy who had 12 home runs all season has 3 in this game. You don't think that is absurdly unfortunate?

The one that hit the bag was lucky. The Zito hit was more JV's fault than luck by Zito. Falling behind 2-0 on a pitcher that is just taking.....terrible pitching by JV!

Delmon wouldn't caught either of those even with a king size bed sheet,

It's not "where was", it's "where is". Delmon is a bad LF'er, the fact a ball has not been hit to him is irrelevant.
You said game 1 of the world series....Delmon hasn't done anything out there to hurt this team tonight. You don't make any sense.

Hey, look at that...had no problem with that ball hit to him.

Yes, Mr. No-comprehension. We don't get to have good defense in LF for game 1, because we have to find a place for Delmon to play, is that too hard to understand?

And yes, he caught the most routine flyout ever. whoopee

Nice contradiction by the way. You rip on me for mentioning Jackson booted a ball because it was irrelevant. Yet you make this point. What a joke.

I am wondering how many reminders of 2006 these St Louis homer announcers are going to make reference of this game. Already counted 7 lmao.
