Tigers vs. rangers Game 1 Thread April 21

Hated these f'n rangers from 2 years ago with the slurp fest in the playoffs. and continued last years playoffs.

Every other minute fox gave them a free blow job showing either nolan ryan, the alfred e neumann lookalike george w bush or that clown of a manager fist pumping when they scored runs.

Other than our Tigers fans down there, F the texass rangers.

I never understood how Washington got a pass for doing coke.

Wonder if the whole team has been snorting with Washington and Hamilton before these games.

According to quick check on baseballreference, 8-run 1st is most allowed by Tigers since 9-run Mariner's 1st on July 30, 2003.

Porcello is just the 7th starting pitcher since 1918 to give up 10+ hits while getting 3 or fewer outs.
Porcello's ERA jumped from 1.84 to 6.32
Last Tigers pitcher to give up 8 earned runs in a start while getting just 3 outs: Jose Lima, 10 years ago today. Can't make this up.

Tigers 2B: Raburn .081, Inge .100, Santiago .118, Worth .200 starting today.

Inge a a god awful second basemen... hopefully soon we can get rid of clowns like him and mudhen who can't hit.... Time for Jim and dd to wake this club up.. Cut them both...

Jose Lima would be just as effective today!

I've said it before, losing Fister for any time was going to be a big loss. He was a very good 2 and very consistent. But I kept hearing, we're okay without him for a month blah blah blah. No doubt we win this division but it sucks getting drilled by Texas.
