That's sad, both of them would be cut if they were in an organization that expected and demanded greatness. The Yankees or Redsox would send these guys packing without blinking.

You don't understand. Inning over quicker, some hits don't happen. Certain guys don't come up in the first inning.

it would have been 2 out, noone on and Napoli struck out after that which would have been the third out. 3 runs in the first, then one in the 2nd (granted he might have given up more) is 4 runs porcello gave up without inge helping the rangers. its entirely possible he would have given up 5 more runs in the 2nd the way he was pitching, but its more likely that he doesnt or gets pulled anyways.

Those hits in the first, the ones where certain batters shouldn't have come up, might not have been hits in the 2nd. Like I said, you don't understand.

And maybe Napoli gets a hit and the rangers continue to pound Porcello. You never know how things "may have" turned out.
