Tigers vs. rangers Game Thread April 22

Go back and watch his last at bat. Took the first pitch for a ball, then swung at the next 4 pitches. 2 of which were definate balls and 1 that was borderline. Took another ball that was 2 feet off the plate and then golfed a ball at his shins right to center. 5 swings that at bat and only 1 ball actually was in the strike zone.

You said....You want Leyland fired because he's not trying to change how Jackson is hitting the ball.

The point is he's HITTING THE BALL! You don't mess with a guy who's biggest problem has been making contact.

FFS...

But they were hit good. Lazy fly means not hit good and has some laziness to it, if that makes sense ..
I hear you. Maybe lazy wasn't the right phrase for those. But 300-350 ft outs aren't exactly what you want from a leadoff hitter.

I guess Jimmy feels Benoit and Valverde could use the extra work? Wow.

Well the first two went surprising well, just wish we had an offense, Refresh my memory was it much warmer during that opening series this year?
