There was nothing you could do about that, it was beautiful.

Dickerson and Price are saying that it wasn't a good bunt and that a better throw from Fielder creates a play at the plate.

The timing was prefect on that play. That scores 9 out of ten times. Good bunter and smart base runner = another Tigers loss.

The good news is we have scored 5 or more runs in 3 straight. I don't think we've done that since the 1st week of the season. Bad news is we lost 2 of 3 of those games.

Fielder had to make a scoop and underhand throw all in one motion just to even make it close. He was playing in on the play too expecting it. I thought it was a pretty good bunt and a good slide.

Leave anyone but a pitcher who has a 4 era in the MINORS and has never pitched a game in front of your eyes in your lifetime. It's ridiculous. Jimmy smokes loves minor leaguers because he was one but come on. I mean this is just unacceptable.

I just watched the replay twice, not a great bunt.

He bunted it too hard which allowed there to be a play period, Fielders flip was not great, but I don't think he had time to make a better throw.

Bottom line is we should have pitched out or thrown up and in high enough that he would miss or pop it up.

Leyland is a clown show with decisions. How many have we lost becuase he's such a moron now?, 6 or 7 by now? I know there were a few earlier in the year it had been awhile but we'd probebly be at least .500 right now if not for all his bonehead moves this year.
