Completely agree, it's as if it's more important to him to give people opportunities than it is winning. He needs to be fired.
Exactly.

I could even be happy with Lloyd getting promoted and bringing in a new HC at this point.. could solve two problems at once?
I do. I don't think they'll fire him.
He started with "Well." He said they were shorthanded in the BP and they really wanted to avoid pitching Coke. He said Dotel has some inflammation. Hoping he'll be ready tomorrow. He didn't want to use Ortega but felt he didn't have a choice. He said Villareal could have pitched but he's a "max effort" guy who throws 97 so I have to be careful with him.
Baker brings in a guy with a .188 BA who is an excellent bunter. Man on 3rd, 1 out, the Reds announcers are calling squeeze, i'm calling squeeze, my cat is calling squeeze, my wife was asleep and she knew it was a squeeze. First pitch is a pitchout, right? Right, simple solution, sniff it out, right? Nooooooooooooooo, pitch down the fn pipe and he gets off the squeeze bunt. EVERYBODY and i mean EVERBODY knew it was going to be a squeeze except that fn dumbfuck Leyland...lmfao.
im still having trouble believing it actually happened.Putting Ortega in in that situation was the dumbest thing I have ever seen a manager do.
