Tigers vs. reds Game Thread June 8

I could even be happy with Lloyd getting promoted and bringing in a new HC at this point.. could solve two problems at once?

I know something different... Look I know he has a decent record with the tigers
545-486 I think but his style is getting way old and stale...It is so hard to watch this train wreck right now.. i was watching in the basement playing MTG with my daughters boy friend and he is a young kid and was wondering why a rookie was brought into the game in the 8th...

We fucking need this game..

I mean you could take a homeless person off the street and they could probably make a better decision than bringing in a rookie in that situation. Couldn't do worse.

He felt like he had no choice? Below coulda stayed in, BV? WTF. he's loopy.

"Hey I heard Don Kelly likes to pitch, why don't you go out there so you can keep your arm warm in case we are up 16-1 in a game and need you"

He started with "Well." He said they were shorthanded in the BP and they really wanted to avoid pitching Coke. He said Dotel has some inflammation. Hoping he'll be ready tomorrow. He didn't want to use Ortega but felt he didn't have a choice. He said Villareal could have pitched but he's a "max effort" guy who throws 97 so I have to be careful with him.

No I don't think he will be fired. Which is a shame because there is no reason we should let this be a throw away season.

What a joke. Could have pitched is all I need to hear to realize what a stupid decision it was.

We have not picked up one fucking game when the Sox lose because of the ineptitude of our management, players and everyone.. But tonight it falls in Jim fucking Leyland... What a freaking clown..

The extra pen arm is there to eat innings when your up or down by a lot, not to come in when you really need an out in the 8th. A GD Monkey could understand this better!

had no choice my ass! ugggg alright i'm done.. I yi yi. Between 9 iron first pitch young and smokes i'm surprised I haven't broken anything yet.

It's amazing I am still devouted to this season and genuinely pained at a loss. Maybe I am just sick.

had no choice my ass...he had a choice. play to win, or play not to lose. he chose the latter. you could leave below in. you could put coke in. you could use villareal. "didnt want to use him" for one fucking out in a 1-run game when your only choice is using a player who shouldnt even be on the FUCKING ROSTER let alone in the game in this situation. fuck you, jim. fuck you in the ass with a rusty railroad spike.

also fuck that ump who strained benoit's arm by calling late time a few days ago.

Baker brings in a guy with a .188 BA who is an excellent bunter. Man on 3rd, 1 out, the Reds announcers are calling squeeze, i'm calling squeeze, my cat is calling squeeze, my wife was asleep and she knew it was a squeeze. First pitch is a pitchout, right? Right, simple solution, sniff it out, right? Nooooooooooooooo, pitch down the fn pipe and he gets off the squeeze bunt. EVERYBODY and i mean EVERBODY knew it was going to be a squeeze except that fn dumbfuck Leyland...lmfao.

Putting Ortega in in that situation was the dumbest thing I have ever seen a manager do.
