Nicely called, but Sux nation felt it was better to wait 'til the Tigers loaded the bases because their pitcher can't throw strikes with a wet ball.
The trade deadline passed and we still need a corner outfielder whose a right handed bat who can have an OBP above .300 and we still desperately need a quality 2nd baseman. WTF? Hey maybe we can trade Jacob Turner for one of those things...

Wins are an overrated stat, and should not be used in CY consideration.
Verlander has pitched a ton more innings, has way more K's, a smidge higher WHIP, and ERA.

What are the rules on calling the game here? We have the tying runs on, they wont call the game like that will they?
4 1/2 is all you need for an official game, they can call it and they will in about 2 hours is my guess.

That will be BS, at least let Infante hit, that's a total screw job and they let the Boston pitcher and manager stall the last inning.

Agree but demsdarules. I might be more upset if I had any confidence Infante wouldn't just end the threat hacking away anyway.

it's moving pretty slow I don't see it not getting called, Twins have em loaded up in the 6th, maybe they'll help us out again while we slug along unable to hit our way out of a paper bag.

Do we, what has Omar Infante ever done against AL pitching? He's a .252 career hitter in the AL with a HR every 50.5 ABs. He's been terrible in the field these 8 games, but you expect that to even out. I'm a glass is half full fan, but this trade is giving me 2nd thoughts upon further review.

He's also made some really nice plays at 2B as well. I wouldn't get so down on him yet.

Rod Allen tweets me back saying the other guy/redsox was pitching in the rain too.

That 4th inning was bad, he couldn't get much over the plate, I don't think the Redsox had an inning quite that bad till that last one there and of course bring the tarp out now that the red sox guy can't throw strikes. Then again Boston has more hitters that make you throw a strike first before they swing away than we do.
Just all around horrible road trip they all outta be ashamed, I am so sick of watching Delmon practicing he's golf game at the plate. i'm just about ready to start looking towards next year. You have your own Twitter page or just going to theirs?
Ramon has made some nice plays at 2nd this year as well.

Infante is significantly better defensively and offensively than Ramon, don't be ridiculous.
