Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread July 31

Verlander has 94 pitches through four innings.
Chances the streak of 63 straight starts of going 6-plus innings for Tigers will continue? Slim.

This team is playing as poorly as they have all season long. Lifeless at the plate, awful in the field, and Jimmy Smokes is making all the wrong moves.

I'm sorry we made that trade, we gave up a couple of our best chips for nothing.

I'm turning it off, i'm getting to upset. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS OFFENSE , GEEESSUS F:EN HCRIMEY SHIUTS!!! Beckett knew pitching in this was garbage and faked a back injury maybe JV shoulda done the same. 6th will be the last chance, harder rain will be rolling in soon.

JV is getting too cute when he's ahead in the count, burning too many pitches.

107 pitches, there's a chance he comes out for the 6th, I bet he gets really upset if they don't let him.

****ing Jered Weaver is 1 hitting the Rangers through 5, he has a sizable lead now in the Cy Young race.

The trade deadline passed and we still need a corner outfielder whose a right handed bat who can have an OBP above .300 and we still desperately need a quality 2nd baseman. WTF? Hey maybe we can trade Jacob Turner for one of those things... :(

Bases loaded and their pitcher starts getting wild...bring out the tarp. Unreal. It's been raining like that all night long. Finish the half inning.

Top of the 6th inning, and the Tigers have the bases loaded with 2 outs, and the dumb **** crew chief jerry layne decides that now after 2 plus hours of rain to have a delay.
