The Worth putout wasn't like the Laird 3rd strike call. When you overslide the bag and the fielder is holding the ball in his glove on top of the bag while you're trying to get your hand back on the bag, you're gonna pretty much be called out just about every time.

If anything, blame the first base coach for not seeing that the ball didn't get very far passed the outfielder, and sending Worth - especially down by three runs; the Tigers need baserunners, at that point, unless it's absolutely going to be getting into second standing up easily, he's gotta hold the runner.
