Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread May 31

I'm explaing this for my own benefit, because I don;t think you'll get it.

Cabrera drives in runs, you don't take away the opportunity just to see if a guy can steal 3rd. It's stupid.

And you don't want Cabrera leading off if possible because you want men on base for him whenever possible, that should be obvious.

I see you want to be an ass now. My thought is if Berry does get to 3rd then a passed ball will also score a run. It opens up more options.

2nd pitch.

And I don't think the playoffs is why DD offered him, but because we had no other real options. This was before we knew what we know about Dirks now.

good point on Dirks, 2nd pitch eh? well either way i'm not giving him credit, thank Boston's pitcher for being dumb enough to give him anything hittable.

We are a rough crowd. LOL.. I was wanting to say that personal I don't care about seeing if an individual guy can do this or not, I just want to see the team win more than they lose.

I'm an ass because I'm pointing out why they won't/don't do something?

And it doesn't open up anymore options except a WP/PB, and is still not worth the risk, it's much easier to throw out a guy at 3rd then second, and with 2 outs and your beast at the plate....

Sorry if you can't see that.

I want to see them win also. Would love to see 162 - 0 but I know that will NEVER happen. LOL At the same time wouldn't you want to know what the team is fully capable of doing? Maybe in a blow out would be more appropriate.

timing is everything.

And worth is worthless once again....Get rid of Inge and it seems another wants to take his place....

Strike zone gets small for Tigers pitchers, that first pitch from Benoit was a strike for beckett.

Marvin Lane went to Pershing HS (Detroit, MI).. He was drafted on my Birthday Jun 7th 1968!!! heck I don't remember him and he played from 1971-74 a few games...and 1976..

I think Cabby was kinda glad that throw was backed up at 3rd. He looks a little winded.
