Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread May 31

That's why they're Massholes, streets are named after them, 'One Way', it's ok for them to accuse another teams player of steroids, or chant 'alcoholic' to Cabrera, but don't do it to their players, their fans f'n suck at fenway even more since 2004, biggest doucebag fans around.
Most of the Boston fans are horrible, and I hate every one of their teams with a passion, but I think a lot of Chicago fans are right up there in suckitude too. The White Sux tend to draw in some absolute drunken white trash idiots (as do the Blackhawks), and the Cubbies draw in the uber-douchebags who are completely clueless about baseball. I love the city and used to visit there regularly, but I just can't stand the stereotypical White Sux and Cubs fans.

Doctor says Avila negative for concussion symptoms.

Great news.

Lived in Chicago for four years and having been to both Wrigley and the Cell, I have to say White Sox fans are worse. Wrigley is basically a giant party where nobody gives a shit about the game and ignore their team's shortcomings, whereas White Sox fans are the biggest dbags on the planet. Although I had great pleasure in watching White Sox and Cubs fans go at it.

My greatest moment at Wrigley was the opening series against Milwaukee a few years ago, some Brewer fan got into a fight with a Cubs fan near the entrance and they went at each other for a good while.

Maybe I'm just biased because I had to live around White Sox fans for my time there.

I remember for several years before he and his family moved back to Michigan, Sbee from the espn message board said all the same about whitesox fans as both of you did.

Have good friends in Chicago, I love the city and visit often. Whitesox fans are the worst, after they won the World Series they have been insufferable, just total douche bags who act like Yankee fans when they have no right to.

Like to see Berry steal third, if he doesn't make it you still have the big boys in the 8th.

Speed does a lot of things. It gets the pitcher thinking about the runner a lot more, it gets the catcher worried too. It keeps you out of double plays. It scores runs from 2nd on singles, it does a lot more than just stolen bases. These are all of the little things that we could use right now since we aren't executing so many of the other little things.

Scherzer back out? Not that it's the worst decision, but it looks like it already backfired with the lead off walk. No decision Leyland makes lately goes as planned.

Stealing 3rd is not worth the risk.

With his speed he scores on a base hit from second anyways, so having him on 3rd with 2 outs is pointless.

It was mostly a thought to see if he was capable of doing it. Plus if he did get caught we would have Cabby leading off the 8th.
