Awful, terrible, disgusting?


With that being said Boyd gets a lot of grief because I think others expect him to pitch like an ace. Even though he's looked at that way in Detroit, who else would be an ace here, he's more a number 4, maybe a 3.



But if you look at the past two seasons his numbers weren't that bad. Cut down the HR total and he'd be much better, solid 2. That's his one bad fault.
