This is the best Liriano has been against us in quite some time. Only 5 hits through 5 not counting his ex teammate. No way to sugar coat it this offense is not getting it done.

valid point. but this is also Joyce's first year as a full time starter and he has done ok. It is true that he had a bad June and July but he has had a decent August so far and looks like he will rebound. All in all better all around player than Maggs but that is not saying much.
