Year in and year out, the Power and Average is unreal,

Cabrera is a Beast and Very Smart as a Batter.

Miggy is hitting .436 (17x39) with three doubles, seven home runs and 15 RBI in his last 10 games. Miggy4MVP

Cabrera now batting .440 (22-for-50) with 5 HR, 21 RBI against Minnesota this season. They have 5 more meetings after today.

Triple Crown Chase: Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera hits his 42nd HR tying him for the AL lead. He now leads in all 3 categories for the TripleCrown.

dont think hamilton is supposed to play all weekend either....

I saw something on the espn scroll this morning that said Ron Washington said Hamilton was dizzy in BP and almost fell over. He is ruled out already for the weekend.

sinus problem affecting his vision.

Cabrera's 42 home runs mark the sixth-highest single-season total in franchise history. Miggy4MVP.

Miggy's Triple Crown scorecard: AVG — (1) 0.333, (2) Trout .326; HRs — (t1) 42, (t1) Hamilton 42; RBI — (1) 131; (2) Hamilton 123.

Cabrera now up to 356 total bases, which marks the most by a Tigers player since Hank Greenberg had 384 in 1940. Miggy4MVP.

Cabrera is hitting .360 (86x239) w/ 17 2B, 18 HR & 60 RBI in 60 games vs. teams from AL Central in '12. Miggy4MVP.

I hope Fister can keep it together for a few innings, so the bullpen can all be ready for tomorrow's marathon.

Gardhenhire tried to get ejected but it didn't happen. Peralta runs into the runner on 2nd fielding a pop fly. Runner called out. Not sure what the runner is supposed to do there if he is on the bag.

Just caught the last several innings of the Orioles/Red Sox game. You do NOT want to face the O's. Sorry...16 straight victories in xtra innings?! That's sick. Thome & Johnson, their closer, look to be at the top of their game & they have few holes in their line up. On paper they may not be as intimidating as the Yanks, WS, Tigs, Angels & Rangers, but man oh man....funniest bit is they now have their 'groupies' following them, as about half the crowd seemed to be O's fans at the end, in BOSTON! LOL. Gotta luv it.

If the umps were logical there, they would just call the batter out, and leave Casilla alone.

Twins got hosed on that call, why not just call IF rule, batter out?

I've never seen that before. Honestly I think they should just both be safe. Casilla did nothing wrong. The bag is his. He had his back to Peralta so he clearly wasn't trying to interfere with the play.

Ump says the base doesn't protect the runner. The runner still has to get out of the way. Since the runner didn't make an attempt he's out.

Yeah KC. I was wondering where all the Boston slappies would go. God, they pissed me off so much I was rooting for the NYY's against them the past several years!
