Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread July 21

Laird and Worth Tigers 8 and 9 hitters, have been on base six times combined today.
Austin Jackson and Brennan Boesch have driven in all seven of the Tigers runs today.

I benched both of them today, I should drill a hole in my side and let the sap pour out.

I missed part of the game so how close was Miggy's steal attempt? Can you imagine, he gets thrown out and BB doesn't bat. Baseball is all about inches.

I think AJ bobbled it... So it was good running by MC...

Tigers win 7 - 1 and are in first place in the AL Central for the first time since April 26th or was it May 1st.
Porcello with a magnificent pitched game 8 innings 94 pitches 1 run 5 hits 0 walks 4 k's 10 GB outs.

Tigers pitchers have allowed 5-or-fewer hits in four straight games -- longest streak since four straight from 5/20-24/84.

Great win.

So many people were all thinking we were going to get killed today and tomorrow because of Porcello and Turner....have some faith.

Youkifuck, 0 for 8 with 5 k's in the series. That's one big fk'n bonus.

I thought we'd lose today. I thought Sale would be just a bit better than Porcello.

Tomorrow, I have no faith in Turner. Prove me wrong again Tigers.

Tigers pitchers have allowed 5 runs in the last 4 games. The Tigers hitters have scored all 11 runs of this series with 2 outs.

This team is on a roll! Porcello showed how good he can be, he's still only 23, from time to time he shows he could be a #2 starter or better.
