Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread Sept. 10

Since that 9-8 loss to KC Aug. 28th, Tigers offense has put up: 0, 1, 7, 5, 4, 2, 2, 7, 2, 1, 2 ... and now 1 tonight.
34 runs in 12 games. 2.8 runs per game.

Raburn was just trotting around the bases and could have scored on the double by Miggy if he would of just hustled.

And watch now that it means nothing Coke will be lights out.

****ing Douche.

You guys never take anyone elses opinion... So your numbers say he gets worse as the game goes on. Ok so they do.. if Omar does not make that error Rick would have gotten out of the inning.. Maybe.. Maybe not... No one knows.. You could see his whole demeanor change after the error. But this much we do know... Smokey would not have taken him out regardless of the numbers you say. And he may have given up runs the next inning...

Really the blame belongs to the hitters... Rick pitched good enough to win as has most of the starters the last month+...

Ok... I've accepted it now..

overall very pleased with the pitching this year.

Williams has done a better job at getting players then DD this year...

Just like the Tigers last year a ton of Sox are having career years this year.. Hopefully they will fall flat again next year..

Doesn't matter, we weren't coming back from 3 runs down anyways.

I agree with you today Bob. Omar makes that play then the hit and run probably never happens and that ball doesn;t find a hole. Whole different inning. I think Rick obviously got frustrated and I can't blame him this time. This team has scored 1 friggin run for him in his last 5 starts. How can he not be frustrated?

Youkillis was huge for them.

I agree and it was all because KW was proactive when his team guy's... While the Tigers and DD stay with guys under performing like BB, Raburn, Santiago, Peralta, and Young for big stretches of the season..
