Get StartedDoesn't excuse Porcello's pathetic stamina.
He consistently falls about after 75 pitches.
Opposing batters are hitting .352/.418/.504 off Porcello from pitches 76-100 this year.
His K/BB is only 1.33 as well.
Time to move on, if he hasn't built up the stamina to pitch effectively past 75 pitches by this point, there's no reason to think he will.

Found it...
1998 Albert Belle had 48 for the Sox...
I could care less about his stamina... To discredit the error as the major reason Rick lost tonight in that inning is ridiculous...
Cabrera and Fielder the only guys without a hit so far.
Ajax and Raburn the only guys to be on base twice.
Baseball Reference.COM show AB hitting 49 in 1998.
Nope.
There's really no reason to think that Porcello doesn't get rocked tonight, even without the error.
All the error did was speed it up.
I would expect Porcello to be part of a deal probably at the winter meetings. Even if he does well from here on out, it was always going to be either him or Scherzer getting moved in the offseason, and it won;t be Scherzer now.
Not sure that is a fair statement to make.. He was pitching well until that error.. he had Paul 0-2.... oh well.. he did not get out of the inning...
