Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread Sept. 10

I am tired of blaming pitchers for not pitching perfect. This game should have been a blowout. 5 hits in 2 innings and 1 run.

Lets see if we can get the bases loaded and not score.... We do that well this year..

One guy is for sure done if JIMBO comes back... Lloyd is toast..

Toby hasn't helped either lately though, maybe we just got too many scrubs on this offense.

Change ups and breaking balls that's how to shut down the tigers been that way all year.

JP stands there and watches it go by

Man this team misses Victor..

Our problem is far deeper then 1 guy though.

Aside from Ajax, Cabrera, Fielder, and somewhat Avila....every hitter on this team has been terrible and incapable of drawing walks of pitchers with little command.

Add to that defense at all but CF has been well below average, and we need some major moves if we're going to do anything in 2013.

This will be the game that sets em off Tigers win all 22 of their remaining games. bhahhahaahahha

no margin for error not easy to keep pitching out of jams due to errors when you just know you can't give any up. He did fine.

No, he fell apart after 75 IP, like he always does.

Opponents have an OPS over .900 against Porcello after 75 pitches this year.

It's embarrassing the lack of stamina he has.

I agree the defense is really poor. Walks would be good but we never really seem to preach that type of plate appearances.. .. DD has failed to even consider defense in regards to Comerica Park and it is a shame... I know it is not all on Leyland and DD needs to be held accountable also.. But DD is not going to get fired before Jim does... The team needs need leadership..
