Just sad we have to wait 4 months for Raburn to become a ballplayer.

Has a chance for the Cycle now.
It was counted as a double/error..

Yes, I know.

He needs a triple for the cycle.

Tigers 5th inning,

Avila cutter high, fastball strike call, fouled back, fly to the line in left is fair and Avila gets to second for a leadoff double on noodle arm pierre,

Peralta first pitch grounder to short no advance by Avila,

Raburn takes a fastball low outside, checks his swing on a high fastball, changeup ground foul, fastball inside, swings and misses ball four full count,
deep fly to left bounces a few inches off the top of the wall and Avila scores skips away from pierre and centerfielder mishandles for an error E8,

Tigers lead 7 - 2,

Inge takes low and it gets under ffpierzynski's glove and Raburn scores, takes high, strike call, fouled back, low, he cringes on a low pitch,

Tigers lead 8 - 2,

Jackson strikes out,

danks with 96 pitches,

Tigers lead 8 - 2.

Ozzie must just be mailing it in.

Did not use Quentin tonight even though he was available, and now just hanging Danks out to dry.

Raburn has been his second half self this year again and I don't mind his crappy glove in the field, in fact give him some more starts in right. Guy is mashing since the beginning of August.

I don't mind his crappy glove in the OF.

but it's stupid to have him play 2b when you have Santiago, Worth, Rhymes, and Guillen who are are better defensively.

Sit Maggs and let him play RF.

Porcello 5th inning,

morel 3 and 1, Porcello squeezed on second pitch, pop fly to shallow right and Raburn has it,

beckham sinker fouled off Avila, sinker inside corner strike call, slider away and he can't check his swing sit down,

pierre fastball strike call, slider low, hard grounder back up the middle Porcello reaches and then pulls back his right hand decides not to barehand it,

cubanpopgun ramirez slider low gets away from Avila wild pitch runner to second, grounder to Inge throws to Cabrera,

Porcello with 80 pitches and done much bette than the first and second innings,

Tigers lead 8 - 2.

Agree. Maggs will give us something down the stretch though.

Raburn has actually been mashing since the end of June.

Also, his April wOBA was .323, which isn't bad. His May and June were god awful

I'm not watching on TV, but can anyone see if the Sux fans are just pouring out of the Cell now?
