Tigers vs. yankees ALDS Game 1 Thread Oct. 1

We may be bitching on this thread, but imagine the trolling that would have happened on our ESPN board from Yankees and a few other AL teams fans tonight, had they not crapped their collective pants with the more "robust" forums.

Speaking of the ESPN board I just tried to go there and it's nothing but script error this script error that, ESPN blows.

Anyway, the Marine chick sang nice.

Do you think Dinozzo will be fucking her anytime soom?

Because they were hoping for a strikeout, which is what Al Al is good at, and also good at stranding runners.

Stranded 27 of 30 in the regular season.

13 k/9

but...sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.

Before Cano hit it out, they said he hits righties and lefties equally well. I didn't check the stats.

Cano is a great hitter. It doesn't matter what hand the pitcher throws with. He isn't inge up there. He hits everyone. The better man won the battle between Cano and Al Al.

Who brought him in, dipshit?

Hey dipshit, he had to go to the 'pen cause Fister was getting punked.

Only an idiot blames the manager for making a move there, and if he hadn't you would be pissing down your leg that he should of.

go fucking cry in a corner.

Maybe Coke would have been a better choice... Cano's swing is taylor made for AA slider down in in if it misses.... It did and Cano didn't... I prefer a lefty there.... so yes Jim is 50% responsible..

I can get on their forum...not much happening on the Tigers board.

I kinda hope Penny gets jacked.. Then Leyland won't touch him the rest of this postseason..

Fister's last bad outing like this was Aug. 14, when he gave up 6 ER to BAL. In the 8 games since, he'd given up four ER in 55.2 IP

Cano OPS vs. RHP .884, vs. LHP .879. Bringing in Alburquerque was not the mistake. The bad slider was the mistake.

Miguel Cabrera has led off an inning in 178 of his 688 plate appearances this season.

The Cano bomb was huge, but the single with two men on I think was the backbreaker.. It then made it a 3 run deficit in an otherwise tight game..

Bases loaded though, they wanted a strikeout to get out of it, Al Al was the best option for that.

He could have brought Coke in and the same thing could have happened, I don't think Al Al was the mistake.

I think not pulling Fister 1 batter sooner might have been.

I don't think you count this as a bad Fister outing.. He was put into unusual circumstances.. The rainout fucked us..

Yup..

0-2 pitch.... I replayed it five times... each time that brain dead pitch caught to much of the plate...
