What's the difference if you would have been out anyways? Laird hustled tonight and blew up his hamstring. If Miggy wants to jog to 1st base when he grounds out, I'll let him. If that's what I have to put up with from a guy who averages .318, 30+ homers and 120+ rbi's in his 10 year career then I'll gladly deal with that.

The GIDP's are just hard to take, and then to see him not even half way down to first when it was completed just makes it harder to take is all.

I thought fister was looking just fine before that injury and first trip to the DL, we didn't get him any run support when he was 100%

Matt Young could be added Saturday.
but no word on Dirks to DL.
