Being 2 hit so far by a previously struggling Hughes. It's like we thought last night's dramatics would carry us today. Last night stopped the bleeding, but today's imminent loss opens the wound right back up. We desperately needed to win this series.

I'm not giving up on the season by any means...but we are what we are...and we are not a very good baseball team. We're going to need a small miracle to turn this thing around but there are no signs that this offense is going to pick it up and perform with any consistency this year. And none of our "slumpers" are showing signs they will break out of it.
