Time to trim some fat(Durham, Edwards)

TWO WRs were out for the Packers game. Burleson and CJ. Thats humongous! How much depth do you think a team has? You lose your studs, you're done...end of story. For any NFL team and it cant be argued.

when you have an average qb....youre correct. Elite qbs make everyone better. Our qb makes WRs look like Pettigrew. Example, Durham actually ran a route on the right sideline for once and didn't just go streaking down the field. He turns to the outside.....hes wide open.....hes 6'6''....and Stafford throws it a foot over his outreached arms. How do you overthrow a sideline route to someone that's 6'6''? When a key piece is out....you need to adjust and linehan is awful at preparing Stafford for that. To your point....tom brady lost 7 out of his top 10 targets from last year.....7! Those rookies look better than these bums we have who have been in the system for years.

I don't drink the same flavor of Kool Aid as LKP, but I think Tony and I might share a juice box. Maybe Burleson isn't a stud, but he's damn good and was/is reliable. Before his injury I believe he was our leading receiver. Yeah a part of that is Calvin drawing coverage, but he's still a solid two and a Burleson/Broyles tandem to me gives us a much better chance to win.

What if those other teams top two guys go down, you still don't think they struggle?

I think we struggled more cause our oline didn't hold up vs a not very good GB front 7. I think we struggled more cause our offense is so dumb that we don't check out of a run up the middle with a weak back like Bush when theres 8 guys in the box.....20 times.

Well...those are issues too...and I think that's one of the reasons Stafford overthrew Blanco Nino on the play you brought up, had to rush a lot of throws. Bush is better in space and the gameplan did not seem to have any desire to put him there AND I don't care what LKP says, we needed to show urgency in that fourth quarter.

The thing that worried me most, our defense, held up okay against the Pack, it's unfortunate when an effort like that finds no help from what should be a high scoring offense.

What about Arizona, they both played and our offense died..maybe that was the OC, I don't know. Last year, we had both all season and we know how that turned out. I can't believe a Bush type makes us go from a 4 win team to a 10 win team.

It just seems like we need everyone to have a good game, 1 goes down and we struggle. The cause: Staff, OC, luck, Injury..who knows. Don't say every team is like that..?

I think most teams missing their top two wideouts will be affected. We didn't have both last season. Nate went down in week 3.

My biggest issue, if you want to place blame, is Linehan. The injuries hurt...and again I think most teams not having their top two receivers will struggle, but you have to make adjustments and I don't think Scotty does that.

matt ryan will be without steven Jackson, Julio jones and roddy white.....I bet he puts up more than 3 points thru 3 quarters.

Answer: He threw the ball where he thought Durhams shitty route running ass would be. Elite qbs make everyone better? Tom Brady is having a pathetic year with wrs as good or better than what Stafford had to throw at last week. You truly are a tool, hughes

It all comes back to Schwartz. He needs to get more involved if he sees the offense stutter. And he needs to get Gunther to blitz more..

You might be right but is there proof that Durham ran a shitty route or did the QB, miss?

And as far as Brady goes, NE after a close loss to a good Cinci team is still 4-1.

he thought durhams route would end 3 rows deep in the stands? Tom Brady is having a bad year? Rookie UDFAs are better than what we have? such a douche....

unfortunately its against the rules to run routes 10 yards out of bounds where the ball landed. It flew over his fucking head lmao.....has nothing to do with the route ran.

If I hate anyone, in order, this would be my list: Linehan, Schwartz, Mayhew, LKP, Gunther..

Sorry about #4, I don't mean anything by it :hehe:

Look at his stats though, very unBrady like. Just saying Hughes point about elite qbs make players better is dumb. Bradys receivers are who they are. They might progress over this season, but so can Staffords receivers.
