We do not see eye to eye on the environment. Between all the biases and opposing viewpoints and the complicated nature of economics and taxation and globalization, I understand how people can see things all sorts of ways on a lot of issues. I get how people can deny the existence and the impact of racial and gender bias out of a need to believe they don't contribute to it since they don't see racism or sexism in themselves. But the damage we're doing to the environment is not reasonably deniable. What side of that Trump falls on is clear. It's unethical. It's dumping shit on the generations that follow. Terrible. Selfish and terrible.

Not really - the Washington Post reported that Trump actually let Tillerson know he was done on Friday. For some reason the firing wasn't made public until Tuesday.

Chief of Staff Kelly contacted Tillerson twice while he was in Africa, and told him that Drumpf wanted him to resign, which he refused. Then Drumpf cowardly fired Tillerson via tweet on Monday w/o speaking to or meeting with him to do so.
