If you're wondering if I played the race card, you didn't follow what I wrote. I essentially took the race card off the table. I'm saying I understand how good, intelligent people can disagree with me on a lot of things, but if you think Trump is better than just about anyone else, including Hillary, you have to be misinformed about the environment, or just as bad person. It is too big an issue to give Trump a passing grade, even if you believe in all that other crap he spews.

This is one of the many things I disagree with him on (albeit a minor point compared to most things I disagree with him on) - she's not ugly but I don't think she's all that hot either. Thanks for the clarification, yes we don't see eye to eye on climate change. The focus should be on toxins in the food supply and pollution more so than any such said carbon gas omissions that justifies any sort of global tax or man-made Geo-Engineering program to combat so-called warming trends that I don't believe really exist outside of Solar Cycles once you remove the fudged data, hide the decline and heat island effect placed temperature stations.

I agree with trumps move to pull out of the Paris Agreement, your Man made Geo-Engineering Programs will just create more problems than they solve.

And I'm not really defending it - I think he definitely should have said it differently and I wouldn't express how attractive my daughters are in that way. I just don't think he has actual sexual desires for his daughter. It's awkward and dumb but not actually creepy unless you think he's sexually attracted to her. I think people who think it's creepy have a need to interpret anything he says in the worst possible way.

I don't listen to Howard Stern - tried it in the 90s but I thought 95% of the show was moronic and not worth the 5% that it was good, even occasionally brilliant.

First off, you know what's more off putting than people that immeditaly throw out the race card? People that are always on their back foot ready to accuse someone of playing the race card. When I said I know what he meant, it had nothing to do with race. The fact that he would NEVER repeat what he said on a live mic is proof enough that what he said was wrong. You don't make disparaging remarks of other countries like that, regardless of how true you think they are. It's beyond tact, it's diplomacy 101. He's going to one day have to sit face to face with these leaders and they won't forget. One day it could bite us.

As far as your rant about socialism...turn off the Infowars and take a breath. I think I've seen enough overreactions to virtually everything Trump has said since he announced his candidacy to pass that judgement on how people interpret the things he says, even if I don't have a catalog of everything he's said in this particular instance.

I'm open to the possibility I could be wrong about Trump's desire for his daughters but I have no doubt I'm right about there being a significant block of vocal vehement anti-trump people who do exactly what I've judged them to do. The possibility they may be right in this instance doesn't make me wrong.

Edit: actually, I think it's more than fair - I've only heard the specific comment you referenced in your post which you seem to indicate is the clear indicator of how he feels. It's not a stretch to then presume that's the most egregious/graphic. And if that's the very comment I've heard and I interpret it the way I said, I think my judgement is fair.

You just went from arguing the case where you only know about one thing he said to not having a catalog of everything he's said in this particular instance. You've shifted from one end of the gray area to the other. Knowing nothing or everything are the only perspectives not covered that leap.

Even if we narrow it down to just the dating his daughter thing, he was talking about it in a discussion about his reaction if she was posing in Playboy. Even Trump seems to recognize it, he immediately says "Isn't it terrible? How terrible? It that terrible?" But I can't call it creepy without trying to interpret everything the worst possible way? I think I have a pretty decent track record giving people the benefit of the doubt.
