Verlander traded to Houston, TJ Surgery, Wins 2 WS, Wins 3rd Cy Young, a Met, Astro again

Justin Verlander threw a season-high 107 pitches during his first post-Tommy John start on four days of rest. He struck out five, walked three and matched his season-high with 17 swings and misses. His ERA is 1.38 and opponents are batting .146 against him.

He was not the same JV his last couple years here. Suddenly he went to an out of this world level AFTER leaving. Seems to me that's on JV more than the Tigers. He Obviously wasn't bringing HIS a game at the end here.

Also, the main piece physically falling apart after getting here at 20 years old is bad luck. He was more than holding his own in AA as a 19 year old which is phenomenal. Calling this the worst trade in mlb history is a stretch.

plus, he went to a team that cheats. Maybe he's getting a little help that isn't quite legal:cheers:
