Well at least we aren't thugs

When Lewan just took Ghoulsten's punch, I thought the same thing. What a punk.

Yeah, very proud of our team. Very disciplined not to retaliate. And I approve of the no handshake for sparty at the end. Classy response to their dirty gameplan.

Didn't Lewan blatantly punch an MSU player in the nuts last year?

I don't remember. It wouldn't change the fact that your team is loaded with punk, douche bag players. So whatever.

Yeah, im' real proud that our offense is a bunch of pussies. Why do you people think they did that? It's called intimidation. It's been the gameplan for 4 years for state. Intimidate the qb's and you get mistakes. Intimidation causes errors. That's why Hoke said at the beginning of the season that this team needs toughness. It had none on the offensive side of the ball today.

No, don't drag us down in the mud like that. Michigan has won every game this season with integrity. Not cheap ass shit like what MSU resorts to. Have you learned nothing from what has gone down in Columbus this past year? I will not root for OSU (or MSU for that matter) not because they have beat us the last few years, but because they resort to this cheap shit.

Michigan will win next year in the Big House, and we will be proud of the way we do it. Not ashamed, like sparty should be.

Listen, when you are punched, kicked, and slapped, you don't stand there and take it. NOBODY came to Denard's defense on any abuse he took. No one got mad, they in turn coward. And that my friend is unacceptable. Were there shitty cheapshots? Yes, most definitely. Did Michigan respond in any way that was positive? No, not once did Michigan make them pay.

Offsetting penalties doesn't do the TEAM any good. It's better to take the cheap shot and take the 15 yard penalty. That's coaching, it's NOT cowardly.

You obviously don't get it either. You don't have to commit a penalty to offset what MSU was doing. It's called getting tough and running over the opposition and then getting in their face and saying, "take that u piece of shit". Then the intimidation factor shifts to the other side. Not once did anyone get emotional on the offensive side of the ball. Only after the first td and then nothing.

That's not what you said. In your example, You said no one came to Denards aid after he got planted. Should Taylor Lewan have taken a swing at Ghoulsten?

biggunsbob[/color]]Here are the plays.. Found it at mlive.

That was only two of the plays showing MSU was acting with intent. There was the late hit on Gallon when he was clearly out of bounds, and late hits on DR on passes, and there was a play when DR got stopped at the line of scrimmage on a run and the defensive player that was in on the tackle pulled DR over and rolled on top of him. No call on that last one. And the play where the guy clearly wraps DR up after the pass and body slams him putting him out of the game. And his teammates were congratulating him on the sidelines.

Clearly MSU had a dirty game plan. If Michigan had retaliated would this have stopped it? No, it was MSU's gameplan to play dirty. They are a dirty team. If that is what you want to root for then go over and root for MSU or OSU. I will stay with my team that wins with integrity.

Go Blue!

Yeah i did not think the helmet twist was all that bad live. maybe I was not paying attention but it is way worse then the punch.... He seriously could have hurt Robinson's neck with that twist.

Now your putting words in my mouth. I never said one particular play. If you didn't notice, this happened the entire game. But hey, keep feeling good about Michigan playing with no balls.

Whatever dude, I don't want to argue with you about this. Go re-read your reply in post 8.

I'm not trying to argue, we're both Michigan fans here. And apparently both passionate. But you really need to re-read my post. I never stated one particular instance. This shit happened over an entire game. These were not personal fouls on MSU's part because they lost their composure. They were on purpose, because they thought Michigan still lacked a toughness. And they were right. Michigan's O was intimidated the entire game.

I guess I'm not sure what UM players were supposed to do. They obviously couldn't block well enough on offense, and the obviously couldn't get pressure on the opposing QB. Maybe if they started taking cheap shots it would have intimidated MSU...? Nah..
