Well at least we aren't thugs

No, I don't believe Michigan wasn't intimidated by that crap. The O was just not coherent. Intimidation comes from making good solid hits, not cheap shots.

"They were definitely more physical," Michigan safety Jordan Kovacs said. "They pounded us, and ate us up."

"They weren't playing dirty," Denard Robinson said. "They were playing football. It's a dirty game."

"I don't know how they played dirty," Hoke said. "They had some personal fouls on late hits on the quarterback, but you can get those all the time."

"We knew what type of game this was going to be," Martin said. "It's going to be a tough, physical game. Coach talked about keeping our poise and composure as a football team. I think we did a good job of it on that side of it.

"I mean, who doesn't know what this type of game is? It's a tough physical game, period. It's an in-state rival. It's big for both teams. That's what it's all about."

"There's not a healthy guy in that room," Hoke said. "Everybody's beat up. That's just part of football. This bye week

Yeah, very proud of our team. Very disciplined not to retaliate. And I approve of the no handshake for sparty at the end. Classy response to their dirty gameplan.

LOL, you approve of poor sportsmanship huh. Well then you shouldn't have a problem with what MSU did.

Fact is, it was poor sportsmanship on MSU getting all the personal fouls. No need for that in any game. It was also poor on UM's part to walk off the field without the traditional hand shake. I would have had a lot more respect for Hoke if he would have went and shook hands with his rival. Instead he runs off the field like a baby who didn't get his way. I give kudos to Hoke for his players being a lot more disciplined than MSU's, no need to run off the field like a crying bitch though. Your definition of class is a little rusty there if you think what Hoke did was classy buddy, Just sayin.

He should, that shit was uncalled for. I personally don't like the kid. If you watch him he is always talking shit and cmmitiing personal fouls. Dantonio needs to sit this kid and give him a realiity check before he hurts somebody.

There is no rule about shaking hands after a college football game. You shake hands after a friendly competition. This was not one and will not be one in the future.

Dantonio won't suspend him. In order for WG to get suspended, he'll have to be suspended by the B1G or the NCAA. Dantonio will probably defend his guy and even appeal the decision.

I don't care how friendly it is, it still shows respect fo your opponent and class, which everyone here says UM is all about. You show them you're the better man. Don't run off crying.

You know he will, and thats one thing I can't stand about Dantonio. It's obvious from past incidents and even todays game, he IS NOT A DISCIPLINARIAN. There are Spartan fans who DON'T approve of this you know.

Ok, I didn't see that, I didn't see anybody, player or coach shake hands. All I saw was Dantonio standing there with his hands in the air watching UM leave the field and the cmmentators saying UM didn't shake hands.

I never saw the handshake, taking another posters word is not cement. What do you care anyway, you think its fine to not shake hands after a game, some sportsman you are.

Well I may have missed it but the announcers were talking about the players. I saw Hoke shake somebodies hand.. But it won't be the first time i am wrong... My friends son was at the game and he said that the Spartan football players went to the Michigan fans section after the game instead of their own fans and were taunting them.. I have no idea if it is true just what i heard from the father. Most years i root for Sparty in other games then the Michigan game because of my wife but it is going to be hard to do that this year.. The more you watch the replays and then read the comments from the classless defensive coordinator from MSU you can see that they intentional try injure players. Now I remember that Mike Martin was hurt last season on a cut block but MSU... You know one holds him and another chops him... So Sparty can just fuck-off for the time being..

That Head twist has no place on a football field and there is nothing a MSU fan can do or say to defend it... No reason for it.. Gohlston is to good a player and does not need to do that type of stuff period.

THAT WAS CRAZY: Will Gholston had a fine day for the Spartans, but he probably shouldn't have been on the field for the fourth quarter. In the third quarter, Gholston was flagged for piling on Denard Robinson well after the play was over, then wrenching Robinson's helmet around for good measure. Later in the quarter, Gholston was being manhandled away from the play by Michigan OL Taylor Lewan, and when Gholston made it to his feet, he summarily punched Lewan in the facemask.

Famed referee Mike Pereira said on Twitter that he would have ejected Gholston, and it's entirely possible that MSU or the Big Ten will suspend Gholston next week when Wisconsin comes to town.
