There are probably a lots of guys we could speculate on. I think Jose Bautista of the Jays is on something but like I said, if you either got caught or admitted it you shouldn't be in the hall.

MLB is the one that dropped the ball on this one. There will be many players in that used. I think anybody with the numbers should get in but make it clear at the HOF that this eara was the steroid era.

Sure they dropped the ball but also blame stupidity on this one as well. Once MLB added testing for peds, maybe guys like Bonds and Clemens etc. should have just stopped. But at one point you need to step up and say enough. Where does it end if guys who were caught using get in?

but guys like Bonds and Clemens were not caught by MLB.

Jose Canseco outed him without naming him. He said a HOF'er that he played with in Oakland. It has to be Ricky Henderson. Even if it isn't Canseco indicated that there is a HOF player that he knows used PEDs. Canseco hasn't been wrong about PED users yet.

Canseco has said that he had "no knowledge" of Rickey Henderson having ever used steroids.

Not sure where you think Canseco outed him with that statement.

I'll be the first to tell ya I know very little about peds and what the benefits are but they have some kind of effect, I don't buy a guy being an average player, takes ped and becomes great and not think it helped..

Not the guys who were caught or admitted. Even the ones who say they didn't know what they were taking. These guys should be punished and the ultimate punishment is not getting in the hall.

That brings us back to the original post....Sosa, Bonds, McGuire, Clemens, Piazza, Pudge...none of them admitted or got caught.

Bonds did. Remember the immortal words: He did not know he was using a pair of designer steroids. Bonds claims his trainer told him that he was taking "flaxseed oil" and "arthritic cream."

And McGuire came clean. He admitted it to all of us. "The only reason I took steroids was for health purposes." Lol.

"It's very emotional, it's telling family members, friends and coaches, you know, it's former teammates to try to get ahold of, you know, that I'm coming clean and being honest," he said. "It's the first time they've ever heard me, you know, talk about this. I hid it from everybody."

I don't remember McGuire coming clean. Bonds never really came clean..he just said he didn't know what he was using. The rest of them never got caught and never admitted it. So we should let them in no questions asked? Clemens should be a first ballot HOFer.
