The problem isn't Stafford, It's the offensive line. He doesn't have time to look for a receiver & the running game has been nonexistent. The way to build a winning team is to start with the line first. They need an OT.

The times the offensive line does their job are too far and in between, the guy is running for his life out there. New system, less turnovers last year, Stafford still got sacked a bunch. Never had a good offensive line. 2011 he was mostly in the shotgun, and got the ball out extremely quick because of it, which disguised how weak the oline was.

They did a stat on most hits taken by a QB since 2012. Luck was #1, Brady was #3. Staff wasn't in the top 4 that they showed.

The pressure he faced throughout his career is severely overstated by this fan base.

It's just the new excuse for 2015. Which was suppose to be the year of no excuses. Maybe year 8 we can start giving him blame.

Oh and it is possible to make a positive play while facing pressure...I see in it from every other QB.

So draft one this year, and give him time to develope BEHIND Stafford. You guys act like a rookie qb is the answer and that booting Stafford is the cure. If we cut ties with Stafford, what's saying that his replacement is automatically better than him? What if he's worse than Stafford, or much worse? With the issues this team has, a new qb is not the answer boys, a respectable offensive line might be though.

So what if these new oline bodies are worse than the current ones? Goes both ways.

Bottom line is over the past three years there have been 22 QBs that have thrown more than 1000 passes. Stafford is the worst rated QB out of those 22.

So you aren't going to get much worse. Maybe slightly worse, but you will have 15 million in extra cap room to compensate for that hypothetical decrease in QB play.

What if it's better? Increase in play and 15million to improve the roster. Win win.

What's the risk? We aren't a playoff team those year anyways. What makes you think with Stafford we will be next?

Putting all of our faith in getting someone better than Stafford is a bigger risk than putting all of our faith in building a good offensive line imo. Stafford is more than a serviceable qb, just need a reputable oline. That's where I stand. Get some better blocking, Stafford will shine. The offensive line is not meshing yet, hopefully they get it turned around this year, but I'm doubtful

Yes this is probably true. Management failed to draft a QB this year. Many on here thought it would be a wasted pick.

Only way Stafford may be gone is if we end with a top 3 pick.

I don't see this as a playoff team the next two years.
