Everything I've read says Pettigrew stands to be the 2nd highest paid TE in free agency with only Jimmy Graham making more.

Louis Nix Round 1 (trade Fairley)
Austin Sefarian Jenkins TE
Allen Robinson WR Round 3
QB to develop Round 4
Use Fairley traded pick on CB. Pettigrew walks. Shaun Hill walks
Cut Delmas, sign Bethea or Chris Clemons to Glover Quin type deal. 4 million in overall cap savings. Burleson to vet min, 4.5 million savings. Raiola and Mathis vet mins (which they did last year)
Sign James Jones, Jacoby Jones, Doug Baldwin or Eric Decker(4-5 million per year) if have money Verner, Sam Shields, Tarrel Brown, Brent Grimes or Vontae Davis at CB.
Calvin, vet WR, Robinson,Burleson,Broyles,Ross with Bush,Bell,Riddick
Fauria/Sefarian Jenkins/Michael Wiliams
Houston, vet CB, Slay,Bentley,Mathis, Green or Greenwood
Quin,Bethea/Clemons with Gomes/Carey as backups or Issa Quddus Abdul(some starts with Saints in past).
Nix is a big guy but can play the 1 in the 4-3. Run stuffer that can get penetration. Very productive. Rates around 10 right now. Could change.
That's a good question what we would get for Fairley.
We'll see on Decker. I'll be shocked if he gets Wallace/Jennings type money.
All your wideouts are very different types of players.
We need a speedy outside guy who can be a number 1 really or at the very least a consistent number 2. Most fit that (Maclin, Sanders, Jones and Jacoby Jones and Decker).
I like James Jones, but his hands are inconsistent. Baldwin, who you mentioned, is more a slot/possession.
Agreed on Baldwin. 70% of his routes were in the slot. He's a good player though probably cheaper than some of the others. You can fully cut Burleson if you pick up Baldwin. Baldwin had 15.6 YPC though. Pretty good for the slot. 73 targets and only 2 drops too. I like that.
And James Jones had one of the lowest drop rates in the league last year. Only 2 drops on 88 targets. Years past he has struggled with drops though.
Im convinced decker wouldn't produce much in this offense. We need guys that will help Stafford become better....not guys that Stafford will make better....we tried that already. We apparently need a julio jones/matt ryan situation.
