personally i think detroit can trade down from 10th and still get Denarrd or Gilbert. maybe pick up a couple extra picks

there is a 7 round mock that has him in the 5th round Draftsite.com
and about trading down, if one of the top QBS happens to land at 10 with Detroit the Jets could be players or if Watkins is there too. at 18 detroit still could get gilbert and Denaard

remember a few years ago we threatned to take Kellen Winslow with the 6th pick in the 2004 draft and literally stole a couple draft picks from Cleveland. I feel Mayhew can do the same here if the right taker comes. hell the Titans who draft 11th would be prime for that since they need a WR more the Detroit does.
id be nice though if he did it again. or at least traded down period to get more picks
all these cuts just makes trading down evem more important
If trading down were as easy as you make it sound, every team would do it. If Sammy Watkins isn't available at #10, then I'm fine trading down. But in order to trade down there has to be a team willing to give up assets (draft picks or players) to move up. And while it'd be nice if a team drafting behind us falls in love with a QB like Derek Carr, I wouldn't bet on it.
Lewan plug n play lt could be a trade target
Jernigan first dt off the board
3rd or 4th qb off board
Mike Evans right now the clear cut 2nd wr off board
...all could be trade targets imo that teams could move up for...even if its just a couple spots. I dont see anyone jumping 20 picks for these guys.
