2023 NFL Draft

Sitting at 6 with that Rams pick.... kind of no man's land if you dont need a QB. Could be a great spot for teams to trade up and grab a qb. Outside of qb you'd be looking at:
Myles Murphy DE Clemson
Bryan Breese DT Clemson
Joey Porter Jr CB Penn State
One of 2 OTs or Quentin Johnson WR

First lb projected is either Trenton Simpson or Sewell late in rd1.

Rams anywhere from 3 to 9

Lions no higher than 18 if Seattle wins

But still would rather beat Green Bay no matter what

Hard pass on Little Sewell. Reminds me A LOT of Tavai. 250lb, 2 down LB?s that have ?potential? to be effective zone pass defenders are not a hot commodity IMO. We play too much man. We don?t need another liability like Barnes/Anzelone/Board/Rodrigo out there.

Agreed... Shame there isn't that legit lb in this year's class. Leaning more toward a big FA signing to fill that void.

The Colts loss to the Texans didn?t help.

Hopefully Rams can deliver a big W in Seattle today!

6th pick from Rams

If we lose we go to 14th or 15th from 17th or 18th right now

Would rather win even at 18th

You sure the broncos won't move down past them? I thought rams would be 5th

Almost forgot about the consensus mock site.

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/mock-drafts/2023/consensus-mock-draft-2023

Here's the current consensus picks for the Lions right now:

5 - DL Bryan Bresee
18 - S Brian Branch
48 - EDGE Andre Carter II
59 - TE Tucker Kraft

Great value draft. I'm just not sure how much more capital we pour into DT. Just resign buggs and get paschal up to speed.

Overall this would be a very safe draft....but overall wouldn't improve the team much.

That's the biggest problem with pick 6 right now....I don't think anyone there improves our team much unless you do something loony and take Bijan Robinson. Or if that northwestern tackle can play guard?

Don?t put ideas in my head. Bijon would fit in so good here?..but if we do that Swift will have the healthiest season ever and it would lessen the immediate impact.

Anyway, Breese at 6 would greatly improve our front 4. Especially in passing situations with Hutch, McNeil and Houston. We got lucky in terms of health along the DL?.need to get some more talent?.bring back Buggs?and build depth.

Ya i wouldn't hate the Breese pick. Myles Murphy seems like another romeo okwara to me. And I like 3 of the corners but none of them deserve to go this high. All that's left is Bijan, a tackle... or hope that a team trades up for a qb left on the board.

6 seems to be a good spot for someone to panic. Maybe a QB kills it at the combine and his pro day.....and the big three are already off the board.....maybe a team like the Jets panics and wants to jump Las Vegas and Carolina.

Who knows.

I don't hate Daniel Jeremiah's mock
6 Devon Witherspoon CB
18 Trenton Simpson LB

I'd like it better if we got those guys after a trade down with Carolina.
