Am I just a sucker?

How much more guaranteed money do we owe CJ?

If he doesn't produced top 3 WR numbers this upcoming season, it may be time to cut ties...

I think it's too soon to worry about CJ's production. 3 games missed, 2 others he basically was a decoy and still had nice numbers. I'm sounding like LKP here :hehe:

It's not too early. He can and will still produce at an elite level when on the field but he's been bothered by little nagging injuries for the majority of his career. On top of that, he's 29 and will by 30yrs old when the season kicks off. It may be time to cut ties at the end of this season or see if a team like NO or SD are willing to fork up draft picks for him.

He will always produce because our qb doesnt know how to throw to anyone else. Cj makes staff better and staff makes no one else better. Which equates to staff being mediocre at best.

If they fully restructure calvin this season. 21 million dead next season. He will go nowhere and that is the right move. Only 30. Still has three years at least of great production.

Yeah tate did nothing. Those 5,000 yard seasons calvin had 5,000 yards too I am sure.

3yrs TOPS of elite production. He's going to be Andre Johnson before we know it. Get something from a desperate team while we can, free up money and pay Suh what he deserves.

Still nobody has answered...Does anybody know how much more guaranteed money we owe Cal?

3 years is an eternity. He will be a huge asset for us the next three years. No way we trade him next offseason.

Tate was great when calvin was out or limited. Tate was average at best the rest of the time with only a couple instances of having great games when both were 100% healthy.

12.9 next year. But if we restructure 21 million dead. He goes nowhere

Tate was good all year. 69 percent throwing to tate. 66 percent to the rbs.

Calvin only 55 percent. It is DIFFICULT to throw to a guy as doubled as much as calvin.

We need a better number three. Fuller deep didn't work much. 14 of 30 attempts. Tight ends need to produce

11.7 dead in 2017 if you restructure him fully this year. You are all ready to get rid of Calvin in 2016 for 12 dead money. Why in the world wouldn't you want Calvin the next two seasons and get rid of him in 2017 if the dead is exactly the same.. And we could probably handle his number in 2017 anyway even if we restructure in 2015.

Getting rid of Calvin isn't happening

So cut ties with a 29 tear old WR to sign a DT, who's only 1 year younger, anything he wants? I'm all for cutting ties with players who don't preform but CJ still does. And that's with a sub QB. Plus, if he is injury prone and not worth what he's getting paid why would anyone trade for him? Is Mayhew working for NO and SD as well?

On the whole, Fairley provides vastly more dollar value than Suh.

Suh is the most dominant force at DT in the league, and he's going to get paid like a QB.

Fairley is a dominant force at DT, and he's going to get paid less than Pot Roast.

With Fairly you have the chance to build. With Suh, you are built, and you are done spending.

Of the two, I'd rather have Suh back if the money is right, but bringing back Fairley and saying goodbye to Suh is an okay option with me.

If I had to choose Fairley or pot roast, I'd choose pot roast. Man that stuff's good. Especially if my mom is cooking it..
