They both will be here 3 years at least. I don't see the Fords getting rid of Mayhew so soon after hiring Caldwell. If next year is bad it will be team is learning a new system. Year 2 team is improving. Year 3 team better be good or both are gone.

why? DUngy said they are super bowl ready and Caldwell was the missing piece. That's why mayhew hired them. So when we don't win the super bowl next year...they should both be canned.

even if I LOVED this years draft results, LOVED our FA and we made the playoffs in year 1.....id still hate mayhew. One thing that pisses me off in this world is being ok with being bad. Fords have way too much patience with their front office. Ever seen Vanderpump rules?....there a crazy chick who is miserable in her relationship, her bf cheats on her, and she just cries and cries about it and never does anything to change it. SOrry....but I think its time for change with this organization. If it were madden....itd be time for a new franchise fantasy draft lol. Bill Parcells says you are what your record says you are. We blamed it on the coach and not the talent or we'd be replacing the players (or the guy that picked the players) and not Schwartz. We'll see if that was the case this year. If it wasn't the case and the players were to blame we got the wrong coach. Caldwell from his past history is a guy who keeps a good team good not a guy who makes an average team better. Hiring these young coordinators may shake things up a bit though as they may be able to take average units like our secondary and make them better.

All in all Hughes I'm with you we still have some serious holes. The biggest one is a qb the second half of the year...all the talent starts and majority falls on him. Mayhew at least could see that.
