Blandino: Crew missed holding call

Oh sure blame it on mud. Lol

I've thought it to but don't recall ever suggesting it publicaly, I gave him a FY the other day for his continued calling us of loser memetantly poeple but no don't think I ever said ypu're a packer fan aren't you!

Lions got jobbed no doubt about it, I refuse to get to upset though once you just admit it's controlled the anger just turns to resolve to expose it for what it is and let your actions be your protest..for example no more NFL memorabila for me, no cards no hats, shirts etc for as long as it's this bias and slanted in favor of whatever is best for whomever

I don't own much and the shirt/jersey of the Lions my sister got me for Christmas is just
not my style its going back.. Nothing can be done... Call the NFL and vent... Nothing changes... certain teams are just not going to win a Super bowl because of a number of factors including league agendas which were on display yesterday...

I'm proud of my two Jersey's..freakin' Louis Demas and freakin' LeShoure. Can I pick 'em or can I pick 'em.

The mega poster on the forum who is a Packer fan is michchamp. I know he and I battle on the politics stuff, that isn't why I'm saying this. He's still a Wolverine fan so he has some element I find respectable. Lol. But I'm 99.99% certain he is a Packer fan, and obviously he posts a ton elsewhere. I respect he rarely posts in the Lions section of the forum too. Quite decent considering the fact he has far more to brag about, obviously. I think he leaves his best trolling for the Digglers Junk section, though I'm not sure he considers it trolling. Lol

Fuck Blandino and his weak ass apology.

What a great thing for you and the other slaps. You can misdirect blame for the full offseason because of this one play.

Completing ignoring the many mistakes the lions made throughout the 2nd half, and the fact it was an unbelievable shitty throw. Make a good throw and the defender doesn't even have a chance to get his hands on Pettigrew for the PI.

Whoooooooo! only 8 more months of this shit.

I cant remember who it is...Maybe it was Tigermud...
Probably not.
Sorry again my bad...

It used to be me, but i stopped following the NFL several years ago. Even before then i don't think i came on the lions board much lol

Yeah it was my mistakes... Which I make plenty of just like the officiating crew in Dallas made sure a certain team advanced.... Now Green Bay get to advance to the NFC title game....NFL s a joke...

This is bullshit... We all know the Lions left plays on field like we always do but to say that play and the rest of the way the game was officiated from that moment on the field wasn't tilted is just blind.. Can't help it if some on here don't see it....Lions as a franchise cant overcome multiple things...Matt being one of them... But it was real easy to see the NFL protection league in action Sunday..

So what is your theory. Did the league call down in the 4th quarter and say make sure the Cowboys win?

Lions were down 4 with over two minutes left. Lions had the game in their hands. They decided the outcome. They had the ball.

All I heard after the game was how it was horrible, the guys back was to the ball, and it was a clear case of Face guarding. Everyone was up in arms with the face guarding.

Once everyone realized face guarding wasn't a penalty, people moved onto the holding before the play.

Who cares it was announced then taken back, that is irrelevant. Sure it's unconventional, but picking up flags is not. The facemask on Pettigrew was as clear as the interference on their guy.

Also where was our #10 overall TE, why is the play designed to go to our pass blocking TE that no one wants.

Also while there are a lot of cowboy fans, there are more cowboy haters. The majority of NFL fans want the Cowboys to lose, if they truly wanted to please fans they would of made sure the Lions won. That would of been the most popular outcome.

Ok B ..
Believe what you want and so will I but the WHOLE GAME was called different from that point on.. Sorry you cant see. Sure we had a shot to win and could not deliver but i much prefer having a first and ten at the 29 or 15 depending on which flag you call.... (Head ref said he would have supported a flag on Dez also) (if it was called) ... First and ten Up 20-17 with the ball deep in dallas territory... EVERY changes... No shank punt, Dallas not getting a shorter field ect,ect,ect...

Multiple holds not called on Dallas's last TD drive.. They are easy to spot... Calvin Mugged on our last drive... Lets not forget the pick up flag... Face guarding whatever... He was holding ay minimum and then they called PI made the call and pick it up... Ok right...lol

To not even say that picking up the flag was a big deal is just flat out wrong..
Football is a momentum sport.. Lions were out there going WTF just happened...
So should the fans.. I guess as Lions fans we should be use to poor calls going against us..

Right, it could change. Could of been another Stafford fumble, could of been a Bush TD, could of been a pick 6, could of been a tate TD, could of been a missed field goal.

You have no idea how it effected the outcome of the game. If you knew before the game the lions would have two time outs, the ball and 2+ minutes needing a TD, would you of taken it.

Lions just couldn't make a big play after the 1st quarter. If it makes you feel better to think the world is against the Lions, do what you need to make yourself feel better.

What does the NFL get out of protecting the Cowboys? I still haven't seen the answer, just keep seeing people say they are protecting them.

The are a lot more Dallas fans world wide then Lions fans..
Cowboys verses. packers...LOL...

Merchandise sale stats from last January.. So yeah I am pretty sure who the
protection League wanted to move on next week..

1. Seattle Seahawks

2. Denver Broncos

3. San Francisco 49ers

4. Dallas Cowboys

5. New England Patriots

6. Green Bay Packers

7. Chicago Bears

8. Pittsburgh Steelers

9. New Orleans Saints

10. New York Giants

I cant help you if you cant see it... At worst the score is 23-17 or 27-17.. dallas starts inside their 30 maybe worse instead of at the 40.. Way less team on the clock.. Lions were moving the ball on that drive..

The play was a huge momentum swing...

I refs totally change the way they called the game from that point one... Two marginal flags on the Lions defense ... Missed holding calls on Dallas... It sucks that we have to beat more then just the other team we are facing...

Seattle was the leagues most penalized team the last two years. They do a poor job protecting teams if that is the case.

I didn't say Lions were more popular than the Cowboys. I said there are more Cowboy haters than cowboy fans, so the popular thing would be for them to lose.

Not sure, but I assume the NFL makes the same amount off Cowboys gear as Lions gear (on a per item basis). So wouldn't having the Lions advance help them sell more Lions gear. They are going to sell Cowboys gear regardless of how they play, they will be popular regardless of their record.

Or are you stating the NFL is going to risk a multi Billion dollar industry by fixing games to sell a few jerseys.

I watched play over and over again... Pettigrew is getting mugged... Jaws on ESPN said it best....
In the NFL rules Pass Interference means YOU CANNOT TOUCH THE RECEIVER I think he said after 5 yards... He went on to say it was a easy pass interference call...

I cant help how naive you are being right not to think things are not talked about behind the scenes before games, after games and or on party busses, in the off season. TV contracts ect, ect, ect.
LOL...

There was no call while the game was going on but if anyone thinks the games wasn't called different from that picked up flag on they are just not watching close enough..
The refs were a joke from the picked up flag on..

Dallas did a lot to try and give that game to the Lions. The Lions could not take advantage. The Lions deserved & earned that loss.
