Comp picks 2014

Oh you're back? We've kind of moved on. Go whack off to Mayhew's press conference or whatever you were doing.

I'm back and proved you wrong again. Funny how you moved on once I've proved it.

They gave up a 3rd and a 4th to move up 21 spots. I said you may get away with a 4th and a 5th to move up 13. Stick to watching the film, no one can argue with you about that and you will always be right.

They gave up a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 7th to move 22 spots. 45 to 32 would still cost more than just a 2nd and 4th. 2nd and 3rd more like it. I'm right. It's a fact. Look at the damn trade chart.

And the Lions don't have a 5th

Like has been said numerous times, the trade chart doesn't always determine what teams give up. And I don't think giving up a 2nd and a 4th is that much of a stretch to move from 45 to 32. Maybe you add an extra late round pick too, but a 3rd is too much.

I'm just fucking with you LKP. If I had to guess myself it would likely take our third to move back into the late first. You may want to pull the trigger with three 4ths though. It's all hypothetical anyways.

The trade chart is what they use. 2nd and 4th won't cut it. 2nd and 3rd would. It's a fact, not an opinion

I think so too. You can get a good player with our 3rd. We got Wardaddy last year. In my mind the draft can't come soon enough, now we have to wait until May.

Tennesse moved from 40th to 34th last year with San Fran. Titans had to give up their 2nd, 7th and future 3rd (equivalent to a 4th). Moving 6 spots staying in Round 2 you could use a 2nd and 4th and 7th. Using a 2nd and 4th for 13 spot. No freaking way. I'll beat it into your brains with examples if I have to. And 40 that the Titans gave up is worth more than 45.

I could go an look up a few recent examples where teams swapped picks that were nowhere near chart value but let's make it easy on everyone and say you win okay. You win this purely hypothetical draft day trade argument LKP. Congrats.

San Diego had 45 last year. They had to give up their 2nd and 4th to move up just 7 spots for Mantei T'eo last year.

It's not hypothetical. The value is what it is . The Titan/49er and Charger/Cardinals trades prove it.

Of course they gave up their 2nd you are trading for another 1st. So they gave up a 4th.

No they flopped 2nds (Chargers and Cards) and gave up a 4th (SD). Just like Detroit would have to give up their 2nd and probably a 3rd to get to end of Round 1 since it's more than 7 spots. Pryor won't be there anyway at 32.

I want Detroit to stay put anyway in such a deep draft. If you trade up for anyone it's Sammy Watkins and that is costly

Okay you proved it. They should put you on one of those crime dramas on CBS, LKP internet detective. My old Aunt would watch you prove things that don't matter.

The important thing is your learned a lesson about the draft. You are welcome.

go train mayhew on the dinosaur chart. waste 2 picks to get a udfa talent like whitehead? piss away picks in the best and leshoure transactions. Piss away picks in the Thomas trade. Way to build a winner Mayhem!

This team is loaded with talent has almost no holes. Levy tulloch and Palmer. Could care less about the unknown in whitehead, not proven bad unknown going into year 3.

He has traded down three times and has hit on a ton of draft picks, free agents and trades. You forgot to mention that. Keep worrying about the 4th and 5th list for Thomas and whitehead. Thomas especially this year when we have three 4ths
