Courtney Smith earlier said that OSU never reached out to her. Now, in their current investigation, they haven't talked to Zach Smith.

I think - assuming they're actually investigating this and not just waiting til 14 days pass and announcing a slap-on-the-wrist - that the initial focus would be around what Urban and Gene knew and when. Then they'd interview the rest of the coaching staff, and anyone around the program that might've been involved, including, I assume "Uncle" Hiram.

Then they'd interview Shelley, Zach and Courtney, to look for any inconsistencies.

I still go back and forth on what's going to happen; if they are actually investigating things, that could be bad for Meyer, but this is all speculation.

Based on what I said about Jo white, I'm not convinced this "heavy hitter" is here to bring the hammer down. I've seen a bunch of other columnists write about her involvement like it shows this is serious business.

but her whole political career has been to cover for big institutions; it's not about conducting investigations, but turning actual investigations into a sham so everyone can walk away claiming to be cleared.

If I was him I would be in Orlando.

A lot of cool tourist places to visit there.

If it was me I?d go to Disney World or Disney Orlando adventure.

I live 40 minutes to an hour from Disneyland and I?ve been there many times but I don?t think I?ll ever go again. It?s gotten kind of boring.

Oh there?s a Universal Studios in Orlando to I forgot about that.

I only live 10 to 20 minutes from real Universal and actually are used to literally live just down the hill. I only went to Universal city tour once.

But if I was the athletic director at Ohio State and I went to Orlando I would go to both Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.

I say that?s where Gene Smith should go.

Same entry as Disneyland down in Anaheim but you can buy beer, wine and margs at Cali Adventureland, whereas Disneyland does not allow alcohol.

I think it will sway the court of public opinion, if people read it and it doesn't turn out to be BS. Apparently, there are recordings of Zach talking to the police that support his claims.

None of that matters. Yeah, OSU fan brought this stuff up today, the stuff about Zach SMith ( a mommy will say anything to protect her boy) and the stuff Courtney Smith's own mother said about it. Courtney Smith and her mother are estranged. They haven't spoken for several years, yet her mother is still personal friends with Zach and Zach's mother. I'm sure she is reliable.

Still, none of this matters. I had to shut down OSU fan today, because he kept going on and on about this nonsense. There is no question now that Zach Smith did this. He was abusive. He chokeslammed her against a wall and then apologized for it on twitter. At some point, she put a restraining order on him. These have to be approved by someone. One would usually have to have a pretty good reason to get one of these. Then later, he violated said order, which led to the current trespassing charge. This was 3 months ago and OSU finally fired Zach Smith the week before media day. Zach Smith has yet to go to court over this trespassing charge. I ask OSU fan, so why did OSU fire Zach SMith then? If this abuse is still alleged or didn't happen or was all the fault of Courtney Smith, then why fire Zach Smith? For alleged trespassing? Come on. they wouldn't fire him for that. They fired him for something, right? This is not in question. He finally had to agree.

The only question now is IF people (Gene/URban/Urban's wife) followed proper procedure, did they report it, when did they report it, why did they keep him on staff after they reported it, etc. The question of IF Zach SMith is a male human that has abused his wife is not a question. We KNOW this is true. Quit trying to dispute this. OSU fired him. They wouldn't have fired Earl Bruce's grandson and Urban's buddy for an alleged trespassing charge that hasn't even went to trial.

i kinda think... if this was all her and he had evidence of that, he wouldn't have been fired in the first place.
