Could Urban be FIRED?

So now some are saying Tom Herman tipped off McMurphy. OSU fans are eating this up and calling him a traitor. He is denying this.

So did Courtney Smith make it all up, because she's an angry, alcoholic psycho or did Herman tip off McMurphy. 8m confused.

Toledo Blade reporting that Zach Smith was arrested for a DUI in 2013, but it was never reported, and he was never disciplined (link)

sounds like he was totally hammered when pulled over. this was WAY over the line

Wait wait wait! There is a reasonable explanation for this. He was drinking and driving because Courtney made him do it. It was entirely in self defense. Just ask his Mommy! She'll tell you. It is not his fault! Courtney made him do it all. Stop blaming him!

LOL, sounds reasonable.

I know whenever I go out with my wife, she's always telling me to drink more. that's just what wives do.

"I love when you're drunk, incoherent, and belligerent. it's such a turn on."

OKAY, so... TICK TOCK!

OSU announced their investigation was expected to be complete in 14 days, late in the evening on August 5th.

August 20th is next Monday. Presumably they will be announcing something then or on August 21st at the latest.

NBC reported that Courtney Smith's attorney stated the investigators met with her this past Monday. and Zach Smith spent "several hours" answering questions yesterday according to his attorney.

I'm assuming they'll make an announcement on Friday at 4:59 PM EST.

Zach Smith was answering questions asked by whom? University investigators?

He?s already fired-why would he even bother doing that?

Zach Smith originally tweeted out that if fired, he was going to take everyone down with him

2 weeks later, he is singing about how great and honest Urban Meyer is and how he knows Urban did all the right things and he now expects to be vindicated and get his job back...

Dude needs to grow up and get help, because he is fucking delusional. Sounds like some of the inmates I know.

I didn't know that ....maybe I did?

so you, hungry and lost leader ...anyone else?

I guess I would have thought stability and reason would in general be common characteristics of prison inmates.

Boy, was I ever off on that one!!

Oh I think there is more at play here. I do think he is a wife-beater (as evidenced by his chokeslamming his pregnant wife against a wall in Costa Rica, her tweeting about it, and he tweeting his apology), so you have that criminal mentality right there. Sounds like he is a drunk, of course.

but I think he was originally pissed at getting fired and was going to lash out, but someone got to him and calmed him down, made him an offer he couldn't refuse, and now he is back on the bandwagon. That offer probably was a million dollars and to stay alive.

All true, every bit of it.

I wonder what would have happened if Zach Smith was fired 3 years ago because his wife accused him of domestic violence. Maybe his wife would be dead? Maybe Urban saved her life ;)

haha, maybe hurr.

or more likely by keeping him on staff with no consequences, he showed him he could keep doing it, and enabled further beatings.
