draft position over under

Suh blows....didnt even hear his name said once until his sack. Doubles schmubles....ur a top pick...play like it.

There it is! You scared me for a minute there, man. "Sack"...your favorite word and benchmark when evaluating DLineman...especially a DT.

Please, don't ever do that to me again...ok?

Srsly though lol. The cardinals oline is in shambles...they are amongst the leaders in sacks given up, and they're starting a rookie qb.....yet our dline is nowhere to be found for most of the game. They're awful.

i put blame on GC...blitz ever? how about 1 DL stunt? no? great job!

these coaches r doing great at draft position this year

I hear you. They were terrible. They gave up entirely.

working hard for that top 5 pick. might even be able to get the #3...which would be awesome! especially with the weak draft class, get the pick of the litter at #3. i look for them to trade up their R2 pick to get back into R1 again too.

they learned from their mistake a few years ago when they could have been in top 5 but had to go and win their last 4 and ended up getting Fairley instead of being in position to get an immediate starter to fill positions of actual need. granted fairley has been improving of late, it took 2.5 years to see that return. lions need immediate impact guys and top 5 is where that happens with all R1-R3 guys if they draft right.

oh, right...it's the lions. maybe they can get 1 guy who will start immediately and permanently. maybe. but at a minimum they will be cheaper due to rookie cap!!!

No way they get to 3. Can't see Philly winning against the NYG or the Skins. Maybe 4 if Oakland beats SD but that's about it.

Fairley playing like hes supposed to play for a couple games then getting injured again doesnt really take him out of the "why the fuck did we draft him again?" category for me. Ill say this again since tony loves it so much.....if Suh gets all the doubles and he still has more sacks than Fairley. Then to me.....Fairley isnt playing all that well. Yes...i know that sacks arent the end all statistic for the DT position. But the bottom line for our dline that is supposed to be "the best in the league" lmao......is youre supposed to get to the quarterback. This dline doesnt do a very good job of getting to the qb.

Yes, i do love it. You know why? Because you can't help yourself...lol.

A couple of games for Fairley? Holy shit, man...please.

then wheres the production if hes consistently been a beast? I like how everyone says statistics dont mean anything for guys like fairley and suh. Well if no one is producing then how the hell are they doing good? lol.

currently in 4th. titus goes full retard, logan ever touches the field, one of the only players playing decent mysteriously goes on IR in fairley. These cant be coincidences. Either schwartz is the worst coach ever or he saw how bad we were and tanked the last 7 games. I commend such a genious plan! We now have one of the worst dlines in the NFL....start scouting which DE you want. AKA....get ready to pick a rb or wr.

Still 5 but round two we're 4 and round 3 we're 3.

Awesome! We can use both of those to move back into R1 and get an injury prone RB-to go with the injury prone WR we get with top 5 pick.

Looking forward to it!

Oh, maybe we can trade rest of picks to move into late R4 to get an injury prone S to be next to Delmas...on IR.

Sweeeeeet!!!

Never said he was consistently a beast. I said he's had more than 2 good games. And stop putting words in peoples mouths. NOBODY said stats mean nothing. You're the one who analyzes DLineman based on sacks...don't deny it. My self and a few others see players like Suh and Fairley and we see these guys being "disruptive", flushing QBs out of the pocket, making a RB change direction, taking on double-teams and occasionally making a great play with a tackle for loss or your favorite word - SACK. ;) Again, being DISRUPTIVE. Pretty much what a DT in the NFL is supposed to do.

Fairley was coming into his own this year. He was ballin' at one point. Two games? You're delusional, man...c'mon now.

4th for now. rooting for oak to beat SD or else we slide to 5th.

So now that the day is over...where would the Lions have finished if we had beat the Bears????

The Lions played the toughest schedule in the NFL this season. Only AZ's was close to as tough.

Using Hughes top 10 and Walters projected picks (slotting changed):

1) Kansas City Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
2) Jacksonville Jarvis Jones, DE/OLB, Georgia
3) Oakland Star Lotulelei, NT, Utah
4) Philadelphia Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
5) Detroit Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M
6) Cleveland Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame
7) Arizona Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
8) NY Jets Bjoern Werner, DE/OLB, Florida State
9) Buffalo Mike Glennon, QB, N.C. State
10) Tennessee DeMarcus Milliner, CB, Alabama

I don't know shit about college, but with these projections who is going to be the coveted guys? With the new CBA it would be nice to still get a stud DE and grab some extra picks. Just wondering what you guys think would be a potential trade back team. There could be 3 teams (Cle?, Ari, Jets) looking for a QB after we pick.

Ansah DE, Vaccaro S, Milliner CB are potential trade down targets. Milliner should be top 10. Ansah and Vaccaro 10-20. 2 real good guards will go 10-20 too in Warmack and Cooper. It would be dissappointing at best to go from a potential DE like Moore to a top 20 guard.
