ESPN QB Rankings

Plus, it doesn't make sense to include the entire season, but it makes sense to use the debacle in Green Bay as 25% of your analysis? Homerism at its finest without even mentioning the strength of the teams each faced over the last 4 games.

Tampa Bay. And Arizona. NYG twice, that's tough, no doubt.

One of Detroit's games was a playoff game. Always tough.

Stafford and Romo are very close. I can understand why Romo is ranked higher since he has been doing it much longer than Stafford.

Yeah I'm not sure what we're arguing for anymore...

Romo%> Staffords
Romo TD/INT> Staffords
Romo YPA > Staffords

Since Stafford can only be judged off of last year, and that list was made based on last year... Romo was the better Qb and is the better QB until Stafford can move past him. He has been since Stafford stepped foot in the NFL. He's done nothing to change that. Good try though.

Okay, let me smack you once and for all:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/05/03/the-pro-football-focus-top-101-players-of-2011/

ProFootballFocus analyzes every single play. They know 10x more about football than anyone here. They've got Stafford at 81 on their list, based solely on last years performances and not adjusting anything for injury. Its based off the whole season.

Now, please tell me...where is Romo??? And before you start bullshitting on how this site is meaningless, they offer much, much more credibility than your personal opinion or your basic (i.e. worthless) statistics that don't properly analyze SOS, talent, ect.
And funny enough, someone in the comments complained about Romo not being on there based on stats, and this was the response:

No, it’s not based on those numbers. If it was there would be no need for anyone to do more than look at box scores and take one from another. We take every throw, by every QB and rate them in the context of the game and what happened on that individual play. If you want to know why QB Ratings and pure numbers are of little use watch this play: http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81cd41c6/Lions-Spievey-gets-lucky-INT

Now, please stfu and go away, moron.

So you think that Big Ben and Matt Ryan had better years than Stafford.

So you think that Big Ben and Matt Ryan had better years than Stafford.

If you include Stafford's shitty games in mid-season when he was obviously injured, than I'm fine with Big Ben ahead of him. Idk about Ryan but its close. Stafford is #7 among QBs, which is about right to me if you evaluate the whole season. I fully expect him to be in the top 5 next year, and PFF said something similar when evaluating his end-of-season performances.

Didn't change anything? Didn't lions have to play the saints because they lost to packers jv team.

"When he was obviously injured". Yep had nothing to do with him facing good teams lol.

So Stafford vs GB on Thanksgiving was just as good as Stafford vs GB at the end of the season?
Stafford vs NO on SNF in midseason was just as good as Stafford vs NO in the playoffs?
The Chargers (who were RED HOT at the time) were not a good team?

All I'm saying is you can give a lot of Qbs in the league Calvin. And throw it that many times. And theyll have stats like that.

Rodgers would be going for 6,000

Give me a break. Like GB WR are shit?

And how about JaMarcus Russell with CJ, still 5000 yards?

whats more impressive is the fact teams don't respect our run game.....

I didnt even know we had a run game lol. I know they try every so often but after a couple 1 yard gains its like fuck it just throw it all over the place. And seeing we have Calvin why not.

Reminds me of last year early in training camep out of 11 throws I think Staff through to Calvin 8 times and when a reporter asked why he simply said why not wouldnt you?
