ESPN Stafford vs Sanchez argument

so only 7 of the 16 incomplete passes were Stafford's fault but the other 9 were NOT his fault?

Yep. Throw aways from pressure, drops(not counting Bells drop), tipped balls. One bad completion, the Riddick catch.

Room for improvement especially with the 2 picks that were his fault but he also had some pretty great drives that ended not his fault. The 2nd and 3rd drive for instance.

Tuesday AM you came back to reality when it comes to the Lions and Stafford...but that didn't last long. You are now back on the Honolulu Blue Kool-Aid and drinking it by the pitcher!

Watched the tape. Long live Stafford.

16 incompletes on Monday. 7 were Staffords fault. And you people complain when Calvin doesn't get targets. You can't win with you guys.

He didn't have nine drops not even close to that. If Staff is the QB making the most money he certainly should get the most criticism.

I watched the tape. *Spoiler alert*

we lose.

we always win the 2nd time he watches it lol. Just with like 35 asterik's next to the W. BAL 18 Lions 16. Lions win cause the drops didn't count, armbar non call, Stafford gets a mulligan on his 3 interceptions, Schwartz forgot he had 3 timeouts, camera went off in the 36th row when calvin tried to catch, Suh accidently drank suck juice before the game, ansahs ankle clearly bothered him, delmas didn't tell mayhew he was going to suck ass all year when we resigned him, Houston hurt, slay hurt, reggie chipped a toenail, etc etc etc no other team has to deal with these things...its bad luck.

I didn't say 9 drops. I said 9 weren't his fault. Batted passes, throw aways and drops and hit as thrown.

So throw always aren't his fault? Yeah okay. I bet throw always count for other QB.

A throw away is definitley not his fault. It's clearly WR and Oline. Do you even watch football?

Do you? I guess Staff is an 80% QB. I don't think his fumbles should count either it's all on Raiola.

Raiola started a chain reaciton. 33% Raiola, snow and Stafford each. Perry fumble all Reiff.

Staff doesn't utilize his other WR options. He throws it to calvin 12-15 times a game and calvin catches it like 50% of the time. 20 passes a game are dump downs to pettigrews 6 yard curl or bush/bell. Half the bush/bell dump downs are dropped or sailed 6 yards over their head. The other 5-6 passes are thrown to durham and Burleson. Durham put 1 hand up and drops his 3. Nate catches his 2 and immediately is tackled. The very last 3 are picked off....usually cause Stafford is a idiot, or he did something weird with his mechanics, or he didn't see the defender right there, or he sailed another ball 6 feet over someones head. Game over...we blow a 4th quarter lead....rinse....repeat....top 15 pick....rinse...repeat.

Because his other weapons suck. Durham should not be a starter in the NFL, Burleson is getting long in the tooth and should be limited. Pettigrew is Pettigrew. Calvin and CJ are our guys. You feed your horses. This fn board is schizophrenic I tell ya. CJ gets gets too many balls or not enough. Which is it?

If he's tearing it up in the first half and gets nothing in the second half, not enough. If Staff is having a bad day but continues to throw, too much. Does that help?
