well, since this thread started in 2014, when we had a Democratic President...I'm pretty sure the country was racist back then too. It just so happens that there have been protests, cities on fire, looting, etc. this year and they didn't do it in 2014. I guess you could blame republicans for the looting, fires, and tear gas if you feel like it is their fault. Personally, I blame the people that are doing it, not for the people in office. That said, I do think the President is doing a poor job with all of this...but he isn't the cause of it.

The park police have stated they received no instructions from the White House to clear the area and the White House confirmed they made no such request. The park police further stated that their actions were taken because their officers were being pelted by rocks and water bottles. Of course, the video evidence you're outraged by starts with the police action and claims the protest was 100% peaceful - and you don't find that the least bit suspect?

And for the record, no I don't think the President has done or said anything that would make police think they have free license to assault protestors. Frankly I'm shocked that the number is that low - to me that shows incredible restraint I also don't believe that they're doing it to entirely peaceful protestors with no provocation. And I don't think it's anywhere near as outrageous as what these protestors have done - so far at least 2 murders, 1 by indiscriminately firing into a crowd of protestors killing a 22 year old woman and another shooting a 78 year old African American retired police officer in the back of the head from close range while he was trying to prevent a business from being looted. But your outraged by somebody getting shoved by the cops who are getting rocks and bricks hurled at them. What's wrong with you?

Again, that's not the myth. The myth is that this is a widespread, systemic issue like you think, no matter what Colin Kaepernick says. I suggest you find sources other than 2nd rate quarterbacks to determine if there is truly an issue with widespread systemic racism in America and that police brutality is real problem for African Americans in the United States today. How an entire race of people feels is a rather arrogant statement and itself a bit racist, but even if true isn't proof of anything, it is however evidence that they've fallen for a lie perpetuated by people who benefit from dividing Americans along racial lines.

ran over with a truck
beaten with a riot shield
pushed down to the point their ears bleed

tear gassed

Every day it seems a police HQ has to suspend a cop without pay. Its not just a couple bad apples.
