Get StartedOne thing I don't want to hear anymore is that Ansah dominated the Senior Bowl. All Star game means nothing, especially for a pass rusher as good O lines are dependent on cohesiveness and experience together. Hopefully we saw plenty in practice that week because the actual game means jack IMO.
All these Tackles and guards flyin off the board In The first round, who is our left and right tackle next year again?
Ziggy will be 24 in May.
The more I look at it, the more I don't like it. The kid didn't do much in his career. Are we really picking a guy 5th based on one Senior Bowl? That's not what good teams do IMO. He had 5 sacks last season, look at his schedule, it's a few good team, but mostly a bunch of MAC level teams who pass 50 times a game, he couldn't get to the QB regularly against Weber State, San Jose State, New Mexico State, Idaho, Utah State, Hawaii???
I'll just say it, I hate the pick, think these guys took a project based on a good week of practice at the senior bowl. He's got good measurables but did shit in college football. Hope I am wrong and he has 15 sacks as a rookie, but this pick is a big risk IMO.

Trufant could end up the best player in this draft.
You assume that's what they did.
Or he Might suck.
Well, they certainly aren't picking him based on his college career. So it's the Senior Bowl and his workouts.
What were the other options? Trade down wasn't going to happen.
