Not happy with the pick, but there's not much else we could do. Obviously a trade down wasn't happening. Paying a guard top 5 money doesn't seem smart. We got the BPA I guess but he seems like a project.

I can live with the pick and hope he's the next JPP or Smith.

What about trading up to get the CB out of Houston? He is number one CB on Mayocks list and I trust his analysis more than any other analyst.

Hopefully. But lots of teams miss on 2nd and 3rd rounders. Like the Pats since 2008 they have had 19 2nd and 3rd rounders and the only starters they had last year from those drafts were Spikes, Gronk and Ridley I believe....They are ones that always get credit for their great drafts, but really they kind of blow.

Honestly I don't think the Lions believe CB is nearly as big a need as the fans and media do. Tennessee almost always got their corners in the later rounds(outside of Pac Man who wasn't just a corner). I think they really like Greenwood and he will play more then people think and may even wind up starting with Green and Bentley battling for nickle duties. They got their veteran in Houston and a bunch of talented young guys. If they do anything I would expect an older vet like Jammer, Rashean Mathis, Sheldon Brown, or Terrence McGee

I just think round 2 is either interior O-Line or WR.

I really like Greenwood. He is an athletic freak but I am not sold on the other two. Who is worth trading up for? I think we stay pat now and take an interior lineman.

Could they go S if one of the top ones are available? I would take on as insurance for Delmas, but they really need some OL help inside. They have options but the second round has been our curse for years!

I don't want a guard in the 2nd. I'd rather take a guy like Barret Jones in the 3rd. It'd be very interesting if we still took a guy like Damontre Moore or Bjoern Woerner in the 2nd. Our D-line would go from lacking to potential to be one of the best in the league.
