But really I only like 3 or 4 players listed in the top 15. And 2 of those are left and I didnt think we would take Wormack or Austin at 5.


Ansah is a boom or bust guy and has all kinds of potential and I cant get past the fact that when ever we draft a guy like that he busts out in 2-3 years and never does a damn thing. Now you can say that we are due for some luck but we are the Lions and I dont see that changing any time soon.

He's bigger, faster, and stronger than Ansah and could be grabbed later in the first or early in the second most likely. Should have grabbed Cooper, Warmack, or even Fluker there is trading back wasn't an option for us.

He's bigger, faster, and stronger than Ansah and could be grabbed later in the first or early in the second most likely. Should have grabbed Cooper, Warmack, or even Fluker there is trading back wasn't an option for us.

Didn't realize so many people watched BYU games closely enough to know so much about this guy.

They don't like that he played so few games. Trust me physicality and athleticism is 90% of the d end position.

The DL is going to be far better next year. This guy can actually play vs RUN and pass. They absolutely made the correct pick here.

All you hating on the pick will be loving it when you see him not only perform better than Avril, but the O will need to start keying on him and that will open up Suh, Fairley, and the LBs.

They just need to shore up the other DE spot next year and they will have the #1 DL in the NFL. Unless they actually go with another solid DE in R2...but that seems unlikely with how many DEs are already off the board.
