this is not even a big game. The Lions are in the playoffs either way. They had bigger games last year when they had an easy path to the playoffs. The Saints playoff game in 2011 was much bigger.

Oh no they need to win this or it's likely one and done #6 isn't going to cut it

well...I think they are going to lose their first road playoff game regardless.

All the more reason this game is huge technically they can still be the #1 seed with a victory and if both Seattle and Arizona lose, it could happen!

don't start with the Royals! I don't even care about the Lions when comparing them to the Tigers!

Just keep pounding that rock! lol gaaawd those days were brutal beyond any known emotion

Leastways they didn't/don't grumble and mumble nonsense, while spraying bits of cold-cuts, cheese, and breadcrumbs outta their yappers from the postgame spread during pressers like Jimbo did.

It took a few years to hate Gym Shorts. I expect by 2017 we'll be screaming for Caldwell's head..

Geez you're optimistic Mitch. I was going to say next year after Austin gets a HC position and Suh and Fairley bolt.

Well that's me, optimistic. I would have said sooner but it's Christmas and I'm feeling jolly.

Stafford is so under appreciated. Caldwell is right. Not only tough but makes A ton of good and important plays that you guys fail to notice every week. You are so used to him being awesome that you only notice the few negatives

used to him being awesome? That rarely occurs. He has been a middle of the pack QB for most of his career.

Go to bed little boy...Santa is coming tonight!

Caldwell said Matt is a man's man that smells of rich mahogany and leather bound books. He kind of avoided the topic is his play at great length which is pretty telling.

ya when youre coach is left to talk about how much of a character guy you are....you probably aren't playing very well.
